Maria giving a talk as a key-note speaker on “The big piece of the post-LAMP pie” at JS-Kongerss conference in Munich. The advent of the cloud disrupted the software stack. The shift from the LAMP era to the cloud resulted in the shift of the software status quo. JavaScript is the biggest piece of the new, post-LAMP pie. It’s not only a front-end scripting language, but a software stack game changer that is equally powerful for both the front-end and back-end. The aim of this talk is to show how Javascript is one of the major platforms that is shaking up the stack landscape.

Maria presenting a talk on “Rust and Google’s Go language (Golang/Go)”. Both languages are an integral part of modern back-end software development to solve specific business needs. Features and performance of Go and Rust is a much debated topic among developers and enterprises. So, should I Rust, or should I Go?. Simply put, where is that magical realm of simple and scalable technology stack, code, and, bullet fast performance? The bench marks on performance of the two programming languages were well discussed in her talk

Milan, Italy

Maria presented a talk on “Expand your horizon: making products with inclusion in mind” at Intersection conference in Milan. This talk focused on why inclusive products are better, and how to build them. Starting with “why?”, moving towards “how?” by explaining key methods of inclusivity: design, data analysis, and SDLC with diversity, and sharing resources as inclusion from an overhead cost to a business enabler is a need of tomorrow.

Malmo, Sweden

Moreover, it also covered Stored XSS Zero-day, a vulnerability that allowed hackers to compromise 70,000 websites in March 2019.
